Learning from the beginning

The purpose of Early Childhood Education is to contribute to the sensory, intellectual and affective development of girls and boys . Progressively, the development of movement and control habits , the different forms of communication , language and the elementary guidelines of coexistence . Girls and boys are facilitated to develop a positive and balanced image of themselves , and acquire personal autonomy .

Trilingual Optimist ®

Trilingual Optimist® offers girls and boys from twelve months to six years a playful and completely bilingual environment that favors learning , acquisition of habits and sensory and motor development.

Trilingual Optimist® is characterized by its innovative methodologies , which promote the creativity of children and their enthusiasm to discover . The game as an activity typical of the early childhood education stage, is the means through which children explore and acquire different learning.

Trilingualism

The teaching of English , which is carried out through linguistic immersion , occupies 33% of the timetable and follows the same learning process as the mother tongue . In the periods dedicated to English, inside and outside the classroom, the teacher only uses the English language.

Child Safety Certificate

The Canigó school incorporates all standards of the National Association for Child Safety . The S + Quality Certification guarantees families a commitment to prevention , offering safe spaces to develop their educational project, without risks or overprotection .

Programming Workshop

We incorporate educational programming in the last Pre-Primary School year with the use of Bee-Bot, a small bee-like robot. Girls and boys of 5 years enjoy games and activities related to the language of programming. It is a project based on a basic introduction to robotics which has continuity in Primary Education.

AFrom the age of 4, the Chess project that is part of the Fun Mathematics project, helps to develop attention spans, temporal space orientation and memory, among other things.

We read and understand

It is an innovative method developed by Fomento to learn to read and write. It adapts to girls’ and boys’ cognitive development and respects their learning pace. They are complemented by The Reading Corner, a library tailored to girls and boys, where they can enjoy books.

The Oratory game

iPad workshop
