Last Thursday, March 21, 53 second year <\/span>Baccalaureate<\/span><\/a> students from the <\/span>Fenix II <\/b>promotion were honored at the <\/span>graduation ceremony<\/b>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

The event was chaired by the headmistress of the <\/span>Canig\u00f3 School<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>Marga Ac\u00edn<\/b>; the director of <\/span>Secondary<\/span><\/a> and <\/span>Baccalaureate<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>Esther Hors<\/b>; the president of <\/span>AMPA<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>Luis Jover<\/b>, and the president of <\/span>Canig\u00f3 Alumni<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>Marta Beriain<\/b>. The school also received <\/span>Diego Almendariz Gamboa<\/b>, graduate in Law, PDD IESE, manager of the College of Actuaries of Catalonia and father of one of the graduating students.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\tDear families, throughout these years, we have shared not only the joys of academic achievements, but also the tribulations of difficult moments. We have trusted Canig\u00f3 and after playing a supportive and active role in these young women\u2019s development, today we celebrate together the fruits of that collaboration.\nWhat great memories and experiences, we took with us from our time in Canig\u00f3. This is how Diego Almend\u00e1riz’s conference began, who first addressed the parents of the <\/span>Fenix \u200b\u200bII promotion<\/b>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

He also transmitted the <\/span>families\u2019 gratitude<\/b> for the teachers and administrative and service staff. Additionally, he recalled the words of Saint Josemar\u00eda in relation to the order of priorities that we should keep in mind in the school <\/span>\u201cfirst the parents; second, the teachers; thirdly, the students.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/p>

He referred especially to <\/span>\u201cAll the teachers who have been guides on this journey, molding not only minds, but also hearts. Thank you for your dedication, understanding and patience with all of them. At all times we have felt your support as we are the main educators of our daughters.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

An especially endearing moment was the remembrance of Teresa Cardona, a member of the executive committee for many years, and Emma Tornero, beloved teacher at Canig\u00f3 and mother of a student in this class, who – as Diego said – <\/span>\u201cToday they accompany us from Heaven. ”<\/span><\/i><\/p>

\n\t\t\t\tDon't be afraid to dream big and to be agents of change in this world that, without a doubt, needs your creativity, strength, affection, smile and drive.\nAnd when you are disoriented, feeling that you can't, that you have no strength, I will tell you a secret: caring about the happiness of others is the way to be truly happy. Attentive to be kind in an effort to make life easy and happy for all those you meet every day; That will be a great sign of love, an indication of the right path!\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Marta Beriain<\/b>, president of <\/span>Canig\u00f3 Alumni<\/span><\/a>, welcomed the graduates to the Association and spoke to them about <\/span>friendship<\/b>, but fundamentally <\/span>commitment<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>

The event ended with the president of the <\/span>AMPA<\/span><\/a> presenting a gift to the 23 families who finished their span as parents in <\/span>Canigo<\/span><\/a>. At the end, all attendees sang the Gaudeamus \u00cdgitur and were able to enjoy a family dinner in the school’s sports center.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
