Fomento schools encourage the development of multilingual skills. Therefore, following the recommendations of the Council of Europe, they are based on a teaching model that focuses on the development of communication skills.
This aspect of learning is developed by an immersion method at Infant school through the use of innovative programmes such as Magic Dragon and English Corner. In Primary and Secondary school learning is achieved through the CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) methodology, involving a third of subjects being taught in English at these stages.
Our students' command of the English language is supported by the external Cambridge exams, certificates of different levels of the language that are widely recognised in the European Union.
