Education in values

In Fomento’s schools, an education based on personal, social and civic values ​​is promoted, which will help students reach their maturity.

We consider that study and work well done is the essence of education, ideal for an instruction in values and the student’s development of their personality. Fellowship, teamwork, discipline, generosity and fun are all aspects of our schools.

Charity Work

Solidarity action, the attention and dedication of time and resources to those who need it most, are part of the daily life of our schools. There are many solidarity activities in which the students of Fomento participate.

The schools promote many such activities, while other activities are undertaken in cooperation with organisations such as Cáritas and Banco de Alimentos. Some take place in their locality and others abroad.

Our Secondary School and Baccalaureate students usually attend, one day a week, a residence for the elderly or a centre for people with physical or mental disabilities.

Food distribution

At Fomento’s schools, we cooperate with Banco de Alimentos in each city. Parents, Baccalaureate pupils and other students bring food, then organise and distribute it. Clothes and food are also distributed to families in need of Caritas.

Work camps abroad

Work camps abroad

In cooperation with NGOs, work camps are organized in developing countries for groups at risk of social exclusion. Some of the places where we have gone are: Huancavelica (Peru), Krakow (Poland), Mexico, Romania...
