Dining room

Canigó School has a dining room, its own kitchen and the necessary facilities for the preparation of food at the centre itself, where the menus are always prepared with the input of a professional nutritionist.

The dining room service is contracted with the company Servicios Auxiliares Educativos (SAE). In cases of allergies or intolerances, this menu shall be adapted according to medical recommendations. Students who have a sporadic need to make use of the dining room services will have to collect their ticket at the secretariat on the same day of use. Those who eat at home, in the event that they have to stay at school for educational activities, will use the dining room service.

Sae Garantiza que todos nuestros menús son saludables equilibrados, avalados por una red de dietistas diplomados.

Transport

Canigó School offers COACH ROUTES that run through most of the Districts of Barcelona.

For any questions about new routes, you can contact the school’s secretariat.

Students who are not enrolled on the route, and wish to use it sporadically, will have to bring a permission slip from their parents that will be authorised in the secretariat of the school, depending on the capacity of the bus.

Extracurricular Activities

Extracurricular activities offer families opportunities to develop their children’s abilities during their leisure time. Each activity has a pedagogical goal and allows the educational offer to be customised.

Insurance

All families must complete a medical record of each student who joins the school and provide medical reports that may help with clinical incidents during school hours.

The school has signed a policy that covers health care in case of student accidents, whether these occur on the school grounds or during school activities outside the centre itself (such as those occurring in school transport, excursions, cultural outings, sport competitions, etc.), as long as said activities are organised by the school itself.

In the event of an accident, the school will process the accident report with the insurance company.

For students of the 3rd and 4th Year of ESO and Baccalaureate, there is also the “School Insurance of the General Secretariat of the Mutuality of the INSS”. This covers the risk of school accidents, family misfortune and illness. The use of this school insurance should be requested at any CAISS (Social Security attention and Information Centre), presenting the insurance payment receipt that will be provided at the school secretariat’s office.

Information request

Should you have any questions, you can fill out the Information Request Form and the school secretariat will contact you as soon as possible.
