Mª José Dionis, professora del colegio Canigó i Canigó Alumni, ha estat guardonada amb un primer premi Víctor García Hoz a la seva X edició pel seu treball “L’art de l’oratòria”.
The project “Think, write and say it: convince through words” aims to develop student’s oratory capacity as a tool to influence upon society.
The goal of this contest is to convince and/or defend some ideas or topics that 6th primary girls are interested in.
They work through fases: searching the idea, creating a sketch, scheme of the exposition, argument with data and evidence and a long etcetera. The art of words, quite an art in which you do not have any visual support.
In the first round, in each class fifteen finalists are chosen to expose their topics in the final phase in front of a big auditorium made up of parents, teachers, students and the jury.
In Canigó through the project The game of Oratory we try to improve oral expression, recreating everyday situations inside the classroom. Girls and boys get started in the art of oratory through this game.
The Víctor García Hoz contest is organized by Fomento’s Education direction.
