We were waiting for it, and finally the 10th edition of the Little Chef contest from the Canigó school in Barcelona arrived! We were really looking forward to it!
Little Chef is a cooking competition that was created with the aim of promoting healthy eating habits and encouraging the creativity of the youngest students.
Nearly 60 girls and boys from P5 and 1st grade participated by presenting a wide variety of dishes. The jury especially valued the creativity of the participants when presenting delicious and healthy dishes, sweet or savory. And he was impressed with the order and cleanliness with which the contestants worked.

In this very special edition of the contest, we were able to count on one more year with an exceptional jury: Rafael Antonín or Chef Rafa, @Rafuel55; Miguel Balcells @elguardiandelosabores; Marta Queralt @cocinaresfacil, and Marta Negra, @martaslemonpie.
The jury awarded the prizes: a white jacket for the winners and a kitchen kit for the best in each category; and although they already said it in previous editions, this year they have repeated it again: It is increasingly difficult to choose the winners!
Promoting good eating habits and creativity
The Little Chef contest has been held for 10 years at the Canigó Development School, it is one of the most anticipated events of the fall year after year. It seeks to take advantage of the fact that cooking and gastronomy are fashionable and that children are also interested in them, to develop good eating habits and encourage the autonomy and creativity of the little ones.
