On May 27, a large number of families from the Canigó school in Barcelona gathered to celebrate the 14th edition of Family Day.

It was a day full of family activities, where young and old enjoyed outdoor pony rides, building blocks, inflatable play structures, face painting, a paddle tennis challenge, Master chef and various workshops.

Parents shared good times enjoying a tasty paella.  After lunch, the little ones had fun with the children’s clown show.

More than 120 families, about 550 people, enjoyed an exceptional day at Family Day in Canigó.

In the afternoon, 78 prizes were distributed in the charity raffle for the Arjau Foundation, and a massive collection of essential products for the Hogar de María took place. The day ended with the celebration of Holy Mass, offered especially for our very dear Emma Tornero and her family. Emma was a greatly loved secondary school teacher for more than 20 years at the school who passed away suddenly this May.

Family Day is an initiative of a group of parents from Canigó promoted by the AMPA of the school. It has two main objectives: to facilitate social interactions between families from school  in a playful environment and to collaborate with a charitable cause. In this edition, the charities supported were the Arjau Foundation and the Hogar de María.

Thank you to everyone who made this fantastic family day possible!
